I have a new idea for a story, but I can't write it for a while, I think. Last night was just surreal and ridiculous. I got a pizza with Katie then watched The Aristocrats again-- it gets funnier every time. Within 3 hours the remaining box of wine vanished into our bellies and we went on a pilgrimage for more alcohol. But considering what hour and day of the week it was, everything was closed-- we managed to sneak into the Oxford long enough to get a shot of Jack Daniel's, but after that we were out of options. Not to be deterred, we got downright obnoxious and started knocking on doors at St. Mark's College, asking anyone who answered if they had anything we could drink. We finally scored a half-bottle of strawberry liqueur that tasted like red and clown jizz, but we drank that with lemonade anyway and talked about such far flung topics as eddie izzard, the fox and the hound, anti-southernism as a socially acceptable form of prejudice, toothpaste, jesus jokes, and bestiality. Not bad for a Monday. I did score an invitation to a costume party next week with the theme of 'famous dead people'. I want to be Kurt, but no one cares that he's dead here, so instead I'm going to be Hitler. Heil fun! You think that's bad? Katie is going as Jon-Benet Ramsey.
Due to complications from drinking heavily, I got very little done yesterday and nothing so far today. But maybe I can turn that around. I'm out of alcohol, for christ's sake, so I'll need to find something to occupy my time.
Drink Count: 12
Some pictures from campus while waiting to be picked up for the experiment last week (there's another one Thursday I'm trying to get into. Wahoo!) The first is Roman, Rachel, Lauren and Clytie, from the left. The second are the weird music note sculpture thingies on the lawn in front of the library.
