8/10 Menstrual Cycle

Then I watched two PhD proposals-- one on the concept of the Monster as "The Other" in society and how it exists as a reflection of the society which created it. The other was a really incendiary one about a 'trauma aesthetic' in a post-Auschwitz world and how the clinical concept of trauma when applied on a societal scale is really an insidious means of forgetting that we, one and all, are implicit in the Holocaust and can never be free of that legacy. FUN TIMES!

Had tequila shots at the bar with Martinar before the presentations and wine at home, then fell asleep and woke up opting for coffee and water. Tomorrow has the potential to be a rough one so I may as well go to bed super-sober tonight.
