Finally tried the Cooper's Dark Ale at The British after class today. It's a lot lighter than the Toohey's Old I typically drink-- more like a Killian's Red than a Newcastle. Still tasty. No drinking after that-- tomorrow is set aside for heavy duty construction on The Tasman Peninsula Preservation Society (facelift, tummy tuck, breast enhancements, you name it) and I need to be on top of my game for that. Also, if I manage to significantly improve it and ready it for a good line edit, I'm free to start work on a new box of wine and some of the virgin ideas beginning to take shape in my head.
