"Billy Graham is the chief servant of Satan in America."The second official convening of the Running Club (aka me and the neighbs) was slightly less disastrous than the first meeting, and much less disastrous than my solo attempt. But I'm tired as a bastard, which is good because it makes me feel less bad about watching Fraggle Rock on youtube all day instead of writing. I'll have to get on that soon, if only to stay in the habit of daily writing by completing some of the exercises I eschewed this semester. I gave up on reading the Shapcott collection-- I really didn't enjoy it, and started on a Carver collection, which I'm digging a whole lot more. No way I'm anywhere near as good as that dude, even when I hit my stride.
No drinking today, just a failed attempt at beef alfredo for dinner. The Australian Government recommends, in order to maintain good health, having at least 1 alcohol free day per week (it says so on my refrigerator!), so there you go, Little Johnny Eyebrows, my concession to official policy, and the shit weather.
