6/25 AAA, Day 12: Munch a chicken heart

Last big walk around Vila-- thanking the Adventure Centre for my trip to Tanna, t-shirt shopping, picture taking, interneting, etc. Finished two final books and then got the good news: Banana Trees will be published by Wet Ink magazine in their Spring issue, sans the last two paragraphs. That makes 3 publications so far this year, and the first in history that I'll actually be paid for. So, liquid celebration on my last night in Vanuatu. Dinner was half a chicken from the Chinese place, complete with the chicken's heart hanging from its underside. I'm all about experiencing other cultures, but still, I'm not quite hungry enough to go munch a chicken heart. One final game of scrabble, in which I smoked Susan, leaving the final game tally Susan-1 and Adam-2. The only living creature to get the best of me in Vanuatu was Tanqueray, but that little fucker was probably high on PCP or something, and if I ever see him again, I will eat his damn heart to steal his powers.
