7/30 AAA, Day 30: Last full day a'travelin'

Surprise, mother fuckers! Didn't think I could do it, did you? Stay sober for the entirety of my stay in New Zealand. I know a week doesn't seem like a lot (by the time I get back it will have been a week) but this is probably the first full sober week I've had in a year and a half, and it wasn't all that hard to do. High-fives and butt slaps for me!Checked out of the YHA and walked to Victoria University of Wellington which, some may remember, was one of the three universities in consideration when I decided to come to Australia. Given the weather in this city and the actually sad feel of the campus (it's even smaller than UA and spread out so it looks like a suburb rather than a Uni), I can safely say I made the right call. Once I check out UMelb I'll know for sure.Checked into my new digs at the Nomads Capital (not bad, actually a backpacker place rather than a Motel 6 and Applebee's combined) and walked the waterfront at sunset to say goodbye to Wellington. Hostel gives free dinner in the bar next door, as well as 2-for-1 drink vouchers (thanks, dudes!) which I gave away because I didn't not drink all week, and type that thing up above, just to blow it with 12 hours to go. Speaking of which, why in the hell did I pick a 6am flight? Gotta be up at 3:30 to be at the airport by 4:00... le sigh, tomorrow is going to be... the longest day EVER!!!

Drink Count : 0
